Finally Android is starting to compete with other Apple products, in this case its the iPod Touch. Samsung has decided to release a iPod touch competitor called the Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0. The Samsung Galaxy Player will not have the functions of an Android phone, it will have access to the Android Market and should prove to be a good competitor to the iPod Touch. There is no monthly contract and no 3G available on the Galaxy Player and it has a price tag set at $229.99 for an 8GB model.
